Registration Dates
Q1: How will I know if my registration is successful?
You will receive an instant reply via your email acknowledging receipt of your on-line registration. Upon receiving payment, you will receive a confirmation letter via email.
Q2: Do you take walk-in registration?
Yes. Just make your way to the consultation venue at least one hour before the session begins. Registration fee will be at SGD 360 per pax for the whole session or SGD 90 per pax per day. Only payment by cash in Singapore Dollar will be accepted.
Q3: Is it possible to make a single bank transfer/cheque to cover registration fees for several people?
Yes, you may. Just e-mail us a copy of your remittance advice together with the list of names and passport/NRIC nos. to say who is covered by the amount.
Q4: Can I provide my flight details later as I do not have it yet?
Yes, just send us an email upon booking of your flight. Please provide arrival and departure details along with your name and registration number.
Q5: Can I change track after I've submitted my application form?
Yes, just send us an e-mail quoting your name and registration number, indicating the original track and the new track you want, at least one month before the consultation to ensure a confirmed place. Changing tracks on day of consultation is subject to availability.
Q6: Can I change track on the day of consultation?
Yes, just proceed to the "Change Track" counter located at the foyer to make the necessary changes. Please note that changes are allowed subject to availability of seats.
Q7: Do I need to apply for visa when visiting Singapore?

Q8: Can you help me apply for visa to Singapore?
Unfortunately, we are unable to assist. You are required to make your own application.

Q9: How do I get to the accommodation venue?

Q10: Can I choose my room mate?
No, but we will try our best to put participants from the same country together.
Q11: How many beds are there in each room dormitory?
We have 3 bedded and 4 bedded rooms available.
Q12: Are there any rooms for single or double occupancy?
No. Participants who require other rooming arrangements may contact MYMCA directly on their own via the link provided in the on-line registration form. Please quote your GCoMM registration number upon making your booking with MYMCA. We have made arrangements with MYMCA for preferential rates to be given to GCoMM participants.
Q13: What if I wish to check in a couple of days earlier before the consultation or extend my stay. Can I stay in the same venue?
Accommodation at Stansfield Residence One is booked from 3-8 July, 2010 for all foreign participants. Should you require an early check-in or an extension of stay, you may contact Rae-ann at +65 6383 1500 or
emgt@stansfield.edu.sg to check on availability of room. Booking of rooms for extra days is subject to availability and charges incurred will be borne by participants. The prevailing rate is SGD25 + 7% GST.
Payment for extra days must be paid in full upon checking in, by cash in Singapore currency only.
On Transportation
Q14: How do I get to the consultation venue?
Transport will be provided to and from the venue daily. Two trips will be made from Stansfield to Singapore Bible College, one at 7.45 am and another at 8.00 am. Please make your own transportation arrangement should you need to travel at any other timings.
Q15: How much is taxi fare from Singapore Changi Airport to Mount Vernon Road (Stansfield Residence One)?
Taxi fare is approximately S$25.
On Refund/Cancellation Policy
Q16: Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the consultation?
Fees paid are non-refundable.
Q17: What is the cancellation policy?
All registrants who cancel prior to the consultation or do not attend the consultation forfeit their entire registration fee. Once you submit your registration, you are not entitled to a refund.
Others
Q18: Do you provide childcare facilities?
No, we do not provide childcare facilities.
Q19: Are meals provided during the conference?
Yes, lunch and dinner are provided through out the conference.
Q20: If I am unable to attend, can someone take my place?
Substitutions must be made in writing by 15 June 2010 latest. You may submit your request via email. Please quote your name and registration number in all correspondences.
Q21: I am not able to attend the consultation. Can I purchase a copy of the sessions?
No, we are not making any recordings of the sessions.
Q22: Are money changers commonplace in Singapore?
Yes. There are money changers at the airport. Banks and small money changers will also change major currencies. You can also use your credit card or ATM card as banking machines are readily available.
Q23: What type of clothes should I pack for the trip?
Singapore has a tropical climate, so loose and light clothing will be most comfortable.
For the consultation, please wear smart casual.
For the gala night, please wear your ethnic clothes.
Q24: Do I need special adaptors or devices so that I can use my electrical appliances in Singapore?
The voltage in Singapore is 220-240 volts AC, 50 cycles per second.
If you need to purchase a converter, you should not spend more than S$15.
Q25: Are there provisions made for participants with special needs (eg. wheelchair bound)?
Please let us know your need in advance. We will try our best to accommodate you.
